Joe Biden

The president of the USA

Joseph Robinette Biden (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who is the 46th and current president of the United States. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under President Barack Obama, and represented Delaware in the United States Senate from 1973 to 2009.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden moved with his family to Delaware in 1953. He studied at the University of Delaware before earning his law degree from Syracuse University. He was elected to the New Castle County Council in 1970 and became the sixth-youngest senator in U.S. history after he was elected to the United States Senate from Delaware in 1972, at age 29. Biden was the chair or ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for 12 years. He chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1987 to 1995; he drafted and led the effort to pass the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act and the Violence Against Women Act; and oversaw six U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings, including the contentious hearings for Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas.

Biden ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and 2008. Barack Obama chose Biden as his running mate in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. During his two terms as Obama's vice president, Biden frequently represented the administration in negotiations with congressional Republicans and was a close counselor to Obama. Biden oversaw infrastructure spending to counteract the Great Recession and took a principal role in designing the withdrawal of United States troops from Iraq.

Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, defeated incumbents Donald Trump and Mike Pence in the 2020 presidential election. On January 20, 2021, he became the oldest president in U.S. history, the first to have a female vice president and the first president from Delaware. As president, Biden has addressed the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent recession. He signed the American Rescue Plan Act, the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Respect for Marriage Act, which codified protections for same-sex marriage and repealed DOMA. He appointed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. In foreign policy, Biden restored America's membership in the Paris Agreement on climate change. He completed the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan that had been negotiated and begun under the previous administration, ending the war in Afghanistan, during which the Afghan government collapsed and the Taliban seized control. He signed AUKUS, a security pact, together with Australia and the United Kingdom. He responded to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine by imposing sanctions on Russia and authorizing foreign aid and weapons shipments to Ukraine.

The Differences between Web 1.0, web 2.0 and Web 3.0:

Web 1.0:

At this time, the technologies of the WEB began to be established.
The sites were static.
Every time the page needs to be updated, it needs to be done physically (save the page), therefore updates were made once in a long time.
The design of the sites was very basic, not interactive.

Web 2.0:

At that time there were technologies that enabled more dynamic, collaborative and social websites.
(Wikipedia is the flagship site of the WEB 2.0 era).
The big change compared to WEB 1.0 is to allow users to share and edit content.
During this period it was possible to develop a DB on the server side, which allowed users to register on websites and save passwords.

Web 3.0:

At that time there were technologies that allowed the use of AI and natural language processing.
The information displayed on the websites is after processing, analysis and understanding.
Innovations in this period are: IOT, cloud.

Query search results:

Web 1.0:

There are no search engines because there is no existing technology that knows how to perform a search.
There were "Golden Pages" style websites where we had to search for the requested information ourselves.
You must know the URL of a page to reach it.

Web 2.0:

During this period, you can ask questions on websites, such as Google, and you can get all the content that exists on the subject of the question, but not necessarily the answer itself.
We will have to look for the information that is relevant to us ourselves among all the results presented.

Web 3.0:

During this period you can ask questions on the websites and the answer you will receive will be an answer processed by AI and NLP.
All the results we need will be displayed in one list and will be ranked.
